Our Ravenshoe to Atherton service is equipped with the TransportMe ticketing system. Cash and EFTPOS payment facilities is available on this bus.
For regular/daily passengers on this bus, we will setup a smartcard which is used to tap on and off the bus each trip. This smartcard is loaded with Funds (by cash or EFTPOS to the bus driver, or via the TransportMe Passenger app). Each time your student taps onto the bus, the bus fare will be deducted from the smartcard. All smartcard usage can be tracked by utilising the TransportMe Passenger App available from the Apple App Store and Andriod Play Store for free. There are additional features available with this app, like live tracking the bus while in Service and much more.
All other buses have no payment facilities, correct cash is accepted only. If you wish to pay by other methods, please contact us in advance to organise payment prior to bus travel.
By December 2024 all Qld Government operated School Buses will be equipped with Queensland School Ticketing System. Once this rollout begins, you will be notified of any pertinent information where required to travel on the bus.
